First published in a US puzzle magazine in 1979, Sudoku initially caught on in Japan in 1986 and attained international popularity in 2005. Recommended as an exercise in logical reasoning, the attraction of Sudoku is its simple rules. The object of the puzzle is to insert numbers in the boxes to satisfy only one condition: each row, column and 3x3 grid must contain the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. What could be simpler?

Fill in the empty fields with the numbers from 1 through 9.

The goal is to fill one numeral in each empty cell, so that each column, row, and sub grid contains the numerals 1-9 exactly once.

Hence:
1) Every row must contain the numbers from 1 through 9
2) Every column must contain the numbers from 1 through 9
3) Every 3x3 sub grid must contain the numbers from 1 through 9
4) After the last number is entered Click outside the box

  It's fun. It's challenging. It's addictive!
